Toothpaste Poisoning Why Is There A Poison Warning On Toothpaste?

Why is there a Poison Warning on Toothpaste? - toothpaste poisoning

In the United States at least since 1997, there was a warning on toothpaste, which says that if you swallowed, call a Poison Control Center.
(see on the back of the tube SU) If we know that fluoride is bad, why use still?

Fluoride is taken in large quantities toxic to the body. In normal use, do not consume nearly a large enough number to at this level. The warning is a concern of parents whose children regularly swallow the toothpaste instead of spitting-common or much to eat by accident.

It is toxic only in high doses ... Fluoride is a poison, sweet, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I like clean teeth and gums healthy, is not it?

because fluoride has its advantages. too much of it can be a problem, but I've never heard of this happening.
